Design Museum Amsterdam

Concept

For this project I design a corporate identity for the Amsterdam Design Museum.

This is a school project about a museum that doesn't really exist but is a museum that will come in the future. The corporate Identity is based on the concept "every design starts with an Idea. This museum is for young artists that come for inspiration. Artists use their drawings as notes. The inspiration for this corporate identity is to let you step into the sketchbook of a designer. The font is handmade and written by my mother. The logo is written in the same style as the font that you can see in the whole design. I also used a lot of doodles in my designs to really create the handmade feeling. It's chaotic and a big mess like the designer's mind.

I made 5 business cards for every subject in the museum. Also I designed posters and accessories for this museum. Last but not least I designed a website and a leaflet. The leaflet is made to make notes while you are in the museum. You can see all the stages from the project. From creating the concept to actual designing it. I hope you like it!

Other concepts

In the concept fase I made a few different designs. These weren’t chosen but its part of the process.
